A smarts wireless network platform targeted for monitoring and controlling industrial application is presented in this project. The generic smart network platform with using a RF link (Zigbee) for communications, in a point-to-point topology. The design also provides means to update operating and monitoring parameters as well as sensor/RF link specific firmware modules over-the-air.
This project is an in-depth study of applying wireless networks to real-world Industrial monitoring. A set of system design requirements are developed that cover the hardware design of the nodes, the design of the network, and the capabilities for remote control access and management. A system architecture is proposed to address these requirements for industrial monitoring for entrance guard control. The RFID are connected wirelessly using Zigbee module, through Microcontroller. The microcontroller monitors the ID readings and converts it into a format accepted by Zigbee module protocol, and then transfer to the Zigbee module through RS232 communication protocol if the ID not matched.
Radio frequency identification (RFID) is one of the most promising and anticipated technologies in recent years. This project will help you to understand what RFID is, how it works, describe the current standard and compliance environment and some considerations to make sure that you have a successful implementation and get the most from your investment. The RFID tags were used to monitoring the supply chain management of the industries, the database update automatically with the products movement from and to the industry.
